Collection // Weber Shandwick work

Weber Shandwick is a global public relations agency with 67 offices around the world (27 in the Americas).

As VP, Executive Producer at Weber Shandwick I led the Integrated Production team in Dallas, TX, elevating our department into a creative production powerhouse, improving the work, getting results and creating content that was on par with much larger teams with much larger budgets. I was made a member of the Senior Leadership team. Developing & growing our internal capabilities and delivering killer work, I soon expanded our reach beyond Texas & began working with other offices & clients across the WS network in Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Washington D.C., Detroit and St. Louis. I helped turn our small Dallas Integrated Production team into a revenue center. The Executive Leadership team brought me into new business pitches outside the Dallas office, involvement & mentoring other production members & teams across the network to help expand their capabilities & push their work and elevating me to VP, Executive Producer over the Southwest region for a place at the table with other regional leaders.

Clients: Chevrolet, U.S. Army, Verizon, Cadbury, Under Armour, American Airlines, Mars (Snickers, M&Ms, Twix), U.S. Postal Service, Amazon, General Motors, National Education Association, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Got Milk?, Essilor, GSK (Nicorette), American Pecan Council, BAE Systems, Genentech, Unilever (Campbells, Suave, Vaseline) & more

Types of work created: everything — including: anthem videos, social content, testimonials, recipe videos, digital campaigns, docu-style pieces, livestreams, experiential, man-on-the-street, digital campaigns, hidden camera/pranks, photography, case studies, influencer partnerships & content creation, automotive videos, satellite media tours, pitch videos, press events, virtual reality & more

Everything here, with the exception of two NEA projects, was created by our internal team. Here is very small look at a few projects —

Bank of America - Strengthening Communities

We traveled across the country for 2 weeks making stops in Baltimore, San Francisco, Chicago and other cities capturing stories of organizations & people that are helping building inclusive communities, creating economic opportunity & livable neighborhoods through Bank of America philanthropic programs. This anthem video is one of dozens of videos & content created as part of the campaign which also include videos about each of the organizations shown in this video, content about the programs, photos, social, B2B & more.

Essilor - Eyezen

We worked with Essilor on a new consumer marketing campaign in support of Eyezen, a new type of eyeglass that alleviates eyestrain caused by staring at smartphones, tablets and computer screens and guards against the harmful blue light emitted by these devices.

We created content to support their launch including integrated digital & social content, direct-to-consumer campaign as well as content for their ECPs (network of eyecar providers) and experiential & content at PlayList Live.

These two videos were part of their initial U.S. marketing campaign and soon expanded into use as part of their international marketing campaign & translated into other languages. Note: next-to-no budget, quick turn, talent = WS employees.

Think About Your Eyes - VR Experience

1 in 4 children have a vision related problem that can interfere with learning.

60% of parent don’t feel an eye exam is an essential part of a child’s healthy checkup schedule.

We created a virtual reality experience to show parents how visual impairments could affect their learning in the classroom.

VR experience created for use with the HTC Vive by our small internal production team (with no prior experience, who taught ourselves the Unreal Engine and everything related to creating VR experiences). We had the idea, created a quick prototype, shared & pitched it to the client and days later we were creating the entire experience. We took the experience around to events, conventions, schools & more.

A Fresh Look - Anthem

We traveled to various farms in the midwest that grow GMO crops such as soybeans. One video of many, part of a larger GMO campaign.
